This discussion group will no longer be active after Dec 10, but there are plans to continue our work on TB transmission control.

Dear community members:

We are writing to follow up on the notice you received that GHDonline.org will become a static site the week of December 10.

It has been a great honor to serve as your moderators. Our goal now is to support the transition of this wonderful community.

We're sharing below a list of next steps to take in preparation for GHDonline's transition to a static site:

1. Review your member profile and posts: After December 10, member profiles and community content will remain viewable online but will no longer be editable. If you wish to contribute new posts, edit your existing posts, or make changes to your member profile, you will need to do so before December 10.

2. Join conversations with other global health colleagues: Below is a list of other global health platforms and networks we encourage you to check out or consider joining.

We are so grateful to you for enabling our community to thrive, and for sharing your time and expertise to build a digital library of tried-and-true knowledge in global health delivery. We are hopeful that we can stay connected and look forward to the conversations ahead.

With gratitude,

Ed Nardell, Paul Jensen, and Grigory Volchenkov

Of the options listed below, we are in active talks with Leadernet about continuing a community discussion similar to what we have had at GHDonline

Community Health Academy (lastmilehealth.org/chacademy): Access free online training and courses for community health workers and leaders of community health worker programs.

Dgroups (dgroups.org): Email-based discussion platforms for individuals and organizations working in international development.

HIFA (Healthcare For All; hifa.org): Email-based discussion forums offered in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese to improve the availability and use of healthcare information in low- and middle-income countries.

The Global Health Network (tghn.org): An online resource for blogs, discussion groups, and virtual workspaces to support global health research.

LeaderNet (leadernet.org): An online community of practice focused on learning and sharing to address health systems challenges, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Administered by Management Sciences for Health (MSH), LeaderNet includes independent communities of practice, seminars, self-paced courses, technical webinars, and a variety of tools and resources. LeaderNet has over 4,000 members from over 100 countries around the world.
