Isha Nirola has been the Community Health Director at Possible (http://possiblehealth.org/) since 2014, leading the Community Health strategy team of forty clinical and community health workers to advance decentralized health care delivery by community health workers in Nepal. She is also currently a Global Health Fellow with UCSF's HEAL Initiative (https://healinitiative.org/). Previously, Ms. Nirola worked was a Senior Technical Advisor and Regional Manager at The Carter Center, where she helped lead the Guinea Worm Eradication Program in South Sudan to achieve a 92% reduction in Guinea Worm disease. Prior to her work in South Sudan, Isha successfully advocated for changes to Indian reproductive health law for the Human Rights Law Network in New Delhi; served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Kiribati as a Health and Community Development worker; and worked as a Health Advocate in Baltimore City. Isha holds an MPH at New York University and will begin her doctorate at the Harvard University T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
