Bio

Johanna Ralston is vice president of global strategies and managing director of international affairs for the American Cancer Society, where she oversees programs in more than 20 countries, as well as the global tobacco control, employer engagement and marketing programs. Johanna joined the Society in 1999 as director of international programs and development, following positions with International Planned Parenthood Federation and NYU, and also serves as treasur of Cervical Cancer Action. A citizen of the United States and Sweden, Johanna is also a cancer survivor and written on health issues from both a public health and personal perspective. She is an alum of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts with her family.
