Relaunching Third Thursdays in Boston!

By Abigail Capobianco | 14 Oct, 2014

Dear YP,

We’re relaunching 3T Boston, and everyone is welcome to join!

When: Thursday, October 16th at 5:30 pm
Where: The Squealing Pig (134 Smith St, Roxbury Crossing, MA 02120)

If you are not based in Boston, take action on NCDs in your own community: start or relaunch a local YP-CDN group!

On the Third Thursday of each month, local YP-CDN groups host regional gatherings around the world. We believe sharing stories, discussing common interests, and identifying mutual opportunities for collaboration are an important part of developing a community that is mobilized to address local and global non-communicable disease (NCD) issues. A 3T meeting serves as a platform for engaging with a diverse group of like-minded individuals who are interested in NCDs, and for team action that will build local NCD activism and advocacy. Each local group will follow its own unique format based on local priorities. Whether predominately educational, social, or a balance of the two, we hope each network will help us to achieve a powerful local model to achieve action globally.

As a 3T host, or local action leader, you are part of a group of leaders who coordinate, encourage, and lead monthly 3T meetings around the world.
Please contact to register your group and get started.

I hope to see you all at the Squealing Pig on Thursday night!

All My Best,

Abby Capobianco
Communications Director
